I AM Rainbow hoodie dress

I very much wanted to support my friend Michelle's #sewpurpletoendalz22 sewing challenge this month. She is raising awareness and money to end Alzheimer's disease. The challenge was to sew something purple.
I chose the I AM Patterns Rainbow dress. I had made a hoodie before and really loved the pattern so I decided to sew it again.
Purple is not really my color so I did not have a lot of options to choose from in my stash. I did have this tie-dye french terry fabric that I bought from Joann last Black Friday. It was the perfect use for this pattern. It's fairly lightweight and not overly warm. It'll be perfect for early fall or spring.
I lengthened the size 36 by about 10 inches to create the dress. I chose the cross-over hood, kangaroo pocket, and no cuffs or hem bands. It was super simple and quick to sew. I will definitely be making this pattern again in the future.
