Sewing my favorite pattern for the 10th time

I have sewn the Pattern Emporium Keep It Simple Babe Tee so many times. It has endless options for sleeve lengths and neckline types. You can create lots of different looks from this one pattern.

For this version I sewed the size 6 with the high square neckline and the short sleeves in the shorter body length. I did not make any pattern alterations.

The fabric I used is a Lady McElroy crepe knit that I bought from Minerva.com

Spanx Faux Leather Leggings (Amazon Affiliate Link)

I was having trouble using my coverstitch machine on the neckline binding of this fabric, so for the hems I tried out the lettuce edge hem for the first time using my new serger. I think it worked really well, and I love the vintage 90s look it gives.
Though it's a simple top, the fabric is a real standout. I'm looking forward to dressing it up and down year-round.

I am a Pattern Emporium affiliate. If you make a purchase using my link I receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. Thanks for your support.
