Sweet Tortie socks
these are the sweet tortie socks for spicy. it's my "few rows a day" project. i'm using my escalator pattern in simple stockinette.

last night i climbed into bed to work on the second sock and i heard a crunching sound. when i picked up my #1 knitpicks harmonies, i realized i'd snapped one of the needles in two. Nooooooooo! so i've switched to metal dpns because i can't find my options. at first i felt some sock-knitting nostalgia for the dpns but that quickly gave way to annoyance. now i'll have to figure out where on earth my other pair of circs went to.

  1. I hate that. I love wooden needles, but they're so fragile. I love the sock so far! The yarn is working up beautifully.

  2. Oh, that's too bad! Your sock is knitting up nicely, though!

  3. i think i want to learn how to knit/crochet. is it hard to learn?

  4. I can't believe how tiny those stitches look! I hope it all works out with your needles. This is too much work to have to start again.
