friday works in progress

i've steadily been moving forward on a variety of projects.
3ply Whitefish Bay corriedale
this is 2 skeins, washed and fulled, but they haven't been reskeined yet. the sheep to sweater project is going faster than i'd anticipated. this is about ~160g and i have almost half the required yardage for the tudor henley. this is a true woolen yarn and it's pretty uneven but i love the fuzzy texture and the yarn is super bouncy. i haven't swatched yet but i think it'll be a really comfy sweater.
Crown Mountain Farms superwash merino sock #2
i finished sock #1 and cast on for #2. the two socks looks so drastically different that they barely resemble mates. there's a lot of pink in this sock that wasn't present in the first one. i'll reserve judgment until both socks are finished but right now i really prefer the look of this one. the distinct stripes are prettier to my eye.

  1. Sheep to sweater is such an ambitious project, but sounds like so much fun. And the sock looks great. I still have to make toe-up socks that fit me... maybe next time.
