do i have holiday knitting fatigue?

yes, yes i do.
lionbrand fisherman's wool
so i'm working on the penultimate thing, which may or may not be out of this stuff. and i whipped out my denise circs, b/c i don't have larger sizes in any of my knitpicks needles. and naturally the denise cord snapped while i was working on that thing that i'm working on. gah!
lionbrand fisherman's wool
i've ordered 2 sizes of zephyr needles. partially to try them out, and also b/c one of the things i don't like about the options is that the heavier sizes are really, well, heavy. and zephyrs are cheaper than harmonies.

i'm so ready to move onto other things, but life isn't cooperating with me.

  1. Thick needles are hard on the hands anyway, and if they're heavy, it's worse. At least you can rest your knitting in your lap when it gets long enough, but heavy needles just don't help.
