Fall Capsule Wardrobe 2017: Shoes

Yay, last category! We've made it all the way to shoes. In the fall and winter I almost always wear boots. I included a couple of other options for weekends and one pair for if the weather is warm. but mostly i'll be wearing boots. There are 8 items in this category.

To sum up: 15 tops, 7 bottoms, 8 outer layers, and 8 pairs of shoes = 38 piece wardrobe. (I added one last-minute pair of shoes to the capsule)

Boots

Cognac knee-high boots: Both pairs of tall boots were also in my winter capsule. I anticipate these lasting for many years and they will both be a big part of my overall fall/winter wardrobe.
Similar options:

Timberland boots (exact): I have winter boots with a faux fur lining but I often find them too hot to wear. I'm hoping these will work well in the winter snow and ice but not overheat my feet.
Similar options:

Black ankle boots (exact): I like to wear these with dresses/skirts and both skinny and bootcut jeans.
Similar options:

Grey suede ankle boots: I lived in these last winter. They were a part of my last capsule. Similar to the black ones, they go with almost everything.
Similar options:

Over-the-knee black suede boots (exact): I mentioned this last time, but these were literally the only over the knee boots I could find that would zip up over my calves. they have decent support as well and are pretty comfortable to wear. I'm looking forward to pairing them with skinny jeans and leggings, and perhaps even my suede skirt.

Sneakers

Leopard slip-on sneakers: This was a last-minute addition to the capsule. I decided I didn't have enough casual footwear. I purchased these used and haven't actually received them yet but I'm looking forward to adding them to my closet.
Similar options:

Black sneakers (exact): I would have been happy to just wear the ones from my winter capsule but they are long gone. Is it just me, or do sneakers not last at all these days?
Similar options:

Flats

Tan loafer mules (exact): I chose one pair of warm-weather appropriate shoes. I don't think I'll get to wear them much but they'll be nice to have on hand. These are very comfy and I wore them a lot over the summer.
