I hope everyone in the US is having a great Thanksgiving.

It's been quite a long time since I've had the urge to break out the loom, but the colder weather proves to be a great motivator. I had bought a few skeins of Socks That Rock at Rhinebeck with the specific aim of using them in pooling scarves. I will never get tired of making these scarves. It's fairly easy to do but it looks so unique. This scarf uses STR mediumweight in the warp and a white sportweight alpaca in the weft. The resulting scarf is lightweight and just a little fuzzy. I used the 10 dent heddle.

For this one, I used some of my own naturally dyed MCN worsted weight yarn to make a heavier scarf. The colors remind me of sunrise and after washing the scarf is super soft and cuddly.
Both of these woven scarves (plus several more) are in the shop.
Those scarves are beautiful.
