Blogger's Quilt Festival: Cross Stitch Sparkle

Blogger's Quilt Festival has rolled around again. I'm very proud to enter 2 quilts of my own design this time.

Cross Stitch Sparkle

Today's entry in the Original Design category is Cross Stitch Sparkle, which is my first self-published quilt pattern. This design is made from half square triangles and the pattern comes in 6 sizes, from Wall-hanging to King.

Cross Stitch Sparkle

I made the crib size for the sample and had great fun pulling sweet girly fabrics. For the back I used one of my very favorite fabrics ever and bound it with an orange ta-dot.

Cross Stitch Sparkle Back

I ditch-quilted the blocks to keep them in place and hand-quilted through each X with pink, orange, and yellow #8 DMC perle cotton. I really love this quilt. The pattern can be purchased on my website as an automatic download, if you're interested. Check out the hashtag #xstitchsparkle on instagram for other gorgeous versions of the pattern. Thanks for stopping by!
