WIP-it Wednesday

Here are some of the things I've been working on this week:

Speckled gradient cowl finished #knitting

I tried out a new dyeing technique I'm calling "Speckled Gradient." I knit a simple cowl using a skein of my Elf Worsted MCN. I like it but the dyeing can use a little work before it's ready for release. I still need to weave in ends and block this one too.

#havendgs blocks are starting to arrive! @cyclingjanes @shaunaluana

Ok, so technically I'm not actually working on this one yet but it sure is fun to collect the Haven do.good.stitches blocks arriving this month. I can't wait to receive them all and get to work.

I've been free motion quilting. I basted 3 quilt tops last week and 2 of them are done. Of course I left the most complicated one for last.

Indigo #dyeing #naturaldyeing

and finally, on Sunday I turned a bunch of yarn blue. now i'm in the process of overdyeing some of the blues to see what else I can come up with. so far it's not going that well but I will keep trying.

Sounds like you're going to have a bunch of finished quilts to show over the next few weeks too!
