WIP-it Wednesday #6

Basted

Herringbone: Last night I got it basted and started quilting the herringbone blocks.

love and liquor socks: I knit a few rows on sock #2.

Postage stamp #quilting

Leaders/enders postage stamp: finally putting the blocks together. now i just have to decide if i want to make one large quilt like my original plan or make 2 baby quilts instead.

superwash merino/cashmere batts: 2 batts are spun, 2 more to go.

Working #followyourarrowkal final clue A

follow your arrow KAL: almost halfway through the final clue. I chose 5A. i really hope i can finish this week.

X&+ scrappy quilt: the Scrappy Block Swap chose X and + blocks for round 1. since i've made these blocks before, I am well acquainted with the fact that i'll get bored if i cut and sew a few at a time so i'm cutting all of my scraps first before i start piecing. i am aiming for 56 blocks with 24 to swap. i'm using all scraps for this. so far it hasn't made much of a dent.

#dogoodstitches #havendgs

do. good stitches February: i finished my bee blocks early this month. these are X & + blocks in the 12" size so i got some practice in before doing my scrap quilt.

Just red and blue left #scraprepublic #quilting

scrap volume: i'm working on red now and then only blue is left. i can't wait to get all of the blocks pieced so I can lay it out on my design wall the way it's supposed to look.

Linking up with Lee at Freshly Pieced.
