WIP-it Wednesday #5

Another Wednesday, another snowstorm.

Volume quilt from #scraprepublic in progress

Scrap Volume: I've been organizing my scrap bins as I work on this project. I sort by color and then by value before i sew my strips together. I'm pretty impressed at how many scraps i've gone through so far. i'm sticking to the tiniest bits (except for purple) and each color has used up a significant amount of scraps. Next up is yellow.

#xstitch #winterwoods

Winterwoods: I didn't have a lot of time to work on it this week, but the wee house is starting to appear.

Love and liquor: I finished the first sock last night and got up to the foot of the second.

#followyourarrowkal clue 4B. It's purty

Follow Your Arrow: I went with Clue 4B and i really love the lace. i'm kind of surprised to be enjoying this KAL as much as I am. i'm not usually much of a mystery fan but i really like that you get a choice between clues every week.

leaders/enders postage stamp: i've nearly sewn all of the rows into pairs. i might actually finish the top this quarter.

#malabrigo nube ready to ply #spinning #igspinners

I finished spinning the malabrigo nube singles and i'll get them plied tonight.

We're voting on a block now in the Scrappy Block Swap. If you need to bust your stash and love scrappy quilts, it's never too late to join.
