Fauxberry

Plaid Scarf

Yay, i finished my new scarf! and just in time too. i admit i got kind of bored by the end so i abandoned it for a few days until i felt like finishing it up. i used the directions from the ravelry thread and a 10-dent heddle. i used wollmeise twin in turkis for the main color and wollmeise pure in moses, malabrigo natural, and wollmeise twin in vamp for the contrasting colors.

Plaid Scarf

i bought a fringe twister and while i love the look of twisted fringe, it takes forever even using the tool. i can't imagine trying to do it by hand. this time, for finishing, i threw the scarf in the dryer for 10 minutes after soaking it. the finished fabric is a little more cohesive and fuzzy. i forgot to measure it, but it's fairly long and wide the way i prefer my scarves.

i really love this one, but it was a bit of a slog.
