Rolling Diamonds Quilt

do. good stitches HAVEN May quilt

My second quilt for do. good stitches is finished. I wrote up a block tutorial and the wonderful ladies of the Haven circle delivered with bright happy blocks perfect for a toddler. The quilt is 48" square.

I used a chicopee ladder dot for the bias binding. I wanted high-contrast black and white with bright colors and i like the thin frame that the binding provides.

For the backing I used a basic grey organic cotton canvas with a black solid from connecting threads. I used hobbs 80/20 batting and the quilting is an angular stipple in white aurifil. the washed quilt is crinkly and cuddly but not stiff. This quilt will be going to ABW Rochester.
