WIP-it Wednesday #5

WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced

I think this accountability thing is really working. It'll be a short one this week.

Finished this week

Nothing. I've been working on just two things all week.

In progress this week

  1. Equality quilt: Seriously if I weren't tracking my WIPs I probably would've given up on this one 3 days ago to start something new. I'm really trying here. All I have left is the binding.
Binding all ready to go. Now it's bedtimeNearly finished #fmqNeed moar practice #fmq
  2. Spicy's socks: Still plugging away. I started the second sock.
    Sock #2 #wipitwed

  2. Rolling Diamonds for do. good stitches
  3. sampler quilt
  4. granny squares qayg
  5. log cabin qayg
  6. bearpaw quilt
  7. HST value quilt
  8. scrappy trips

  14. polaroid blocks
  15. embroidery mandalas
  16. cross stitch family
  17. triangles quilt

New starts

I had to restrain myself, but none.

Yardage progress

FYI: I'm rounding to the nearest 1/8th of a yard to keep the math simplified. i only count yards used per week from finished projects.
Used this week: 0 yds
Yards to go: 5.125 yds

*sniff* not being able to count yards used until the project is finished is rather painful. it means i can't buy fabric for another week. I've decided that post-40 yard decrease, I will have an in-and-out policy. for every new yard i bring in, i have to use a corresponding yard from my stash before i buy more. since my storage space is pretty much at capacity now, this will ensure that i won't run out of room.

  1. Your quilting is wonderful! The rabbit tote/fabric in the background of your sock photo caught my eye too - very cute.

  4. I really like your fabrics, especially your binding. I'm doing well with my destashing, so I'm allowing myself to buy more fabric now, too.
