It's a bird. It's a plane.

No, it's Super Tote!

This bag is taking over the world right now so I'll gloss over the boring details. I used my sizzix half hexagon die to cut scraps for the front pocket. i added a little hand quilting with perle cotton, interfaced and fully lined the pocket, used a faux binding, and added a magnetic snap.

I used heavyweight linen from fabrics-store.com, a cream cotton couture for the lining, and the black dictionary print from mama said sew for the exterior. I added the elasticized pocket to one side of the lining and the lined slip pocket from the go anywhere bag on the other.

This will be my new summer work bag. It's nicely roomy and fits all the crap i need to lug back and forth from work. The patchwork hexagons and linen make me happy. it took me so many hours to make this bag, but in the end it was worth it.
