WIP-it Wednesday

WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced

So here's my grand attempt at accountability. I'm linking up to WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced and will give a regular report of my progress.

Finished this week

  1. Spiderweb pillow
  2. Half Hexie pillow: I bought the Sizzix half-hexagon die and used a couple of charm packs to try it out. I had assembled the pillow top and quilted it and all that remained was to make the pillow cover. This was an easy finish to cross off the list and it will be a gift sometime in the near future.Half Hexagon Pillow Cover
  3. Baby Quilt #1: needs pictures
  4. Baby Quilt #2: needs pictures
  5. HAVEN April blocks: We were asked to do HST blocks from In Color Order's tutorial this month in b/w and cool colors. I did July and December and used my wondercut ruler. my new rotating mat really came in handy on this one.Haven April blocks

In progress this week

  1. Pink Castle Fabrics HST quilt: I made a couple more blocks and decided to assemble the top as is rather than making a ton more HST blocks. I should be able to get a good crib-sized quilt out of what i have. i kind of hated it last night when i went to bed but this morning it's growing on me.HST value quilt
