Equus Quagga

My pattern, Equus Quagga, has been published in Fresh Designs Mittens & Gloves. The book can be purchased as a download now and will also be available in print soon. The outer mittens are 2-color stranded colorwork and are worked in fingering weight yarn. The mittens are fully lined with a lovely MCN yarn that makes the mittens cozy and soft to wear (plus they provide a pop of color since they are electric blue, which you unfortunately cannot see).

I designed and knit these mittens in the summer of 2010. It has been a very long process bringing the book to fruition. I'm proud of this design, but it can be hard to maintain excitement after such a long passage of time. Suffice to say i'm not sure that book publishing is for me, but i'm happy to have contributed nonetheless.

Have a great weekend! I will be spending time with these 2 scamps.

Daisy!
