I've been very busy with some new things but i haven't had much time to take pictures yet. One of the irons in the fire is working towards spinning down my fiber stash. I bought a braid of Gale's Art merino at MDSW 2010. Originally the plan was to blend it with some other fibers but i got tired of it sitting in my stash so i spun it as a 2x2 cable plied yarn.
I spun the fiber short-forward draw. There's 100yds/3.7oz. The color variation is quite subtle but I like it very much. It's a chunky weight and would make a quick winter accessory with lots of texture.
