i wanted to finish this quilt quickly because it's almost May and i hadn't yet finished a full-sized quilt in 2012. i was feeling ashamed of all the partial quilts i have stashed. the guilt of starting yet another project was getting to me and i wanted to get 'er done so that i wouldn't have yet another WIP to add to the pile.
fortunately i did finish it and i even made a backing for one of my abandoned quilt tops. with any luck i will have another finish to blog pretty soon.
