While I was out, I learned via email that I won Bry's blog contest. Woohoo! She was very generously giving away a stack of bella solids leftover from this beautiful quilt. I wasn't expecting the package to be so large, but it contained everything here plus a baggie of scraps. Thank you so much, Bry! I only hope I can use them for something as lovely as your quilt.
I went to many quilt shops in Iowa and Arkansas while on vacation--I only wish I could remember all of their names. I bought an embarrassing amount of fabric. It was really nice to be able to browse and pick out what i liked, rather than having to guestimate colors online. I'll be showing one new stash pic a day until I run out. It's going to take awhile.
These are the fat quarters and precuts. I want to do a grey and yellow quilt eventually, so i bought some Moda Sunkissed. The solids are Shot Cottons. The roll is 5" x width of fabric hand-dyed solids. I'm super excited about those. I've been wanting to do a colorful solids quilt for awhile, so I'm sure all of these new fabrics will come in handy.
