Bottled Rainbows progress

Bottled Rainbows progress
i'm taking a break from it right now, but when I returned home, i worked on quite a few Bottled Rainbows blocks. i'm half done now. i decided to stick with the blanket stitch but it does eat up a huge amount of thread.

i'm letting the amount and type of scraps i have dictate the layout of my blocks, so they look pretty different from one another. i quite like the eclectic effect. i don't know that i'll go as crazy as i did on the two orange blocks again, though. it took forever to attach all those teeny tiny pieces.
Vacation stashing
today's stashing--the blues: the one on the far left will be pillowcases for my bed. i found the last of the DS quilts joann fabric that i liked, some aviary, katie jump rope, and the one on the far right might be the backing for my bottled rainbows quilt. though now i'm thinking i might want to go a bit more somber to tone it down. i haven't decided for certain yet.
