Crown Mountain Farms Fiber Club
This shetland CMF fiber in Lady of the Lake
CMF Shetland 2ply
became this 2ply handspun
which became Multnomah!
Pattern: Multnomah (see sidebar)
Yarn: CMF shetland handspun
Needles: #6 knitpicks harmonies
Started: April 27, Finished: May 3

i forgot to measure the final size. i only had 324 yds so i knit only a few repeats of the lace pattern. i might be willing to try this pattern again with more yarn.
i loved knitting shetland. it has a nice rustic feel that works great with garter stitch. it also blocks into a nice crisp shape.

i knit this shawl for my aunt who is having some health problems. she and my mom are going on a trip to NYC this summer so i wanted her to have it before they went. i hope she likes it.

  1. It's beautiful! I like knitting and spinning with Shetland too.

  2. I saw it on ravelry this morning. It is lovely! Your handspun was gorgeous, and now it's all knit up into a lovely gift. I'm sure your aunt will love it.

  3. It's lovely, I'm sure your aunt will love it!

  4. Beautiful Multnomah - lovely blues! I've haven't spun Shetland yet...so many breeds, so little time!
