it took me forever to get pictures of this skirt but here they are, finally.
Pattern: Lacy skirt with bows from Knit Cafe
Yarn: Elann Coto Canapone, 6 skeins in mahogany
Size: modified S
Needles: #6 and #7 knitpicks harmonies
Started: March 21, Finished: March 25
I knit the front and back lace panels and then joined to work in the round. i kept 1 purl stitch at the seams. i shortened the skirt slightly and knit at a looser gauge. i also threaded satin ribbon through the eyelets and tied only 1 bow. i handwashed the skirt and threw it in the dryer for 15 minutes and then lightly blocked and let it finish air drying.
i love how lacy and swingy this skirt is. it's very comfortable. i really like the cotton/hemp yarn. it has wonderful drape and is fairly soft. at the gauge i worked at, it wasn't hard on the hands. i would use it again for summer wear.
now if only it would warm up so i could wear it.
