handspun february has not been going as well as i'd have liked. i haven't come close to spinning every day. i did finish up the CMF finn singles last night and i'm hoping to ply when i get home this evening. it's wonderful that the club fiber arrives in such a timely fashion but it does make me feel a moment of panic, like, "oh crap--march is here already and i've only spun a third of last month's fiber." at least the early arrivals kick me into gear.
this is shetland, in lady of the lake. the surprise colorway is nice this month, but i'm glad i picked my own because it appears to be kind of similar to what i received last month or at least in the same ballpark. i've spun shetland before but this fiber feels softer than what i'm used to. i was thinking a fingering weight 2ply but i haven't decided for certain yet.
