my new slippies + club fiber

sometimes i think in Buster Bluth-isms, so i can't stop thinking about these clogs as my new "slippies."
Felted Clogs
Pattern: Felted Clogs by Fibertrends
Yarn: Lionbrand Fisherman's Wool, kettle dyed with acid dyes
Size: Women's S
Needles: #15 knitpicks zephyrs
Started and Finished: January 3
Felted Clogs
i haven't stopped wearing these since they dried. i ran them through 3 wash cycles and painted on a thick coat of Fiber-lok rug backing on the bottoms. this time i made the bumper, but i don't love how it turned out. if i made them again, i'd skip it. these have kept my feet really warm and i couldn't be happier with them. yay, slippies!
Dyakcraft December Colorways Club
December Colorways batt. i still have november to spin and a bunch of squares to knit. maybe i should try to attack this project in february and concentrate on catching up. my subscription is almost up, so only 2 more batts to go and i'll have a finished blanket. or something like that.
Jan/Feb AllSpunUp Spinalong
i decided to participate in the january/february allspunup spinalong. this is 4oz of wensleydale. i never would have picked out this autumnal colorway for myself, but i love it. i just finished spinning some wensleydale that was a huge headache so i'm hoping that this experience will be better.

  1. I love the All Spun Up colorway, but I'm not a huge fan of Wendleydale, even though it has a nice shine.

  2. Love the felted clogs! I was thinking about trying Fishermans Wool for a pair of Fuzzy Feet for my hubby. He has worn his first pair completely out.

  3. Oh, Buster. I really wish they still made AD. The slippers look very comfortable, and the colors are fun!

  6. Great job! I heart mine, even though they're not as pretty as yours.
