Stashing for future projects

i fell for Pas de Valse after seeing the mosaic of the myriad of ways it can be worn. it looks so easy to throw on, and yet graceful and elegant. i ordered two more skeins of skinny bugga in tomato frog for the cardigan.

my first skein is in the middle--the two new ones are on the outsides. the colors in this pic are a little off, as the skeins are a bit more red and less orange. there is a significant difference between the old and the new skeins. the two new ones are more red-orange. i will definitely have to alternate skeins.

i also picked up a skein of Nebraska Conehead. this one is a little bit darker than i'd hoped. i'm thinking about using it with my brown malabrigo sock to knit the bird on a wire hat from vogue knitting.

i wish i knew what the little sample skein was. it wasn't labeled.

  2. Beautiful colors! The red looks just like Campbell Soup.

  3. Very pretty stuff. I don't have the time to hang out at the "kill or be killed" yarn updates/feeding frenzies. I don't have the patience for it all. I'm just not a properly worshipful yarnie. LOL!
