Knitting on Auto-pilot

Occasionally it's nice to just knit a pattern the way that it's written without a mess of modifications.
Hey Teach
Hey, Teach! from knitty, summer 2008.

Started February 22-Finished February 26, 2009.

2 skeins of Brooks Farm Four Play, #8 denise circs, 32" size.
Hey Teach
i had maybe 1/3 of the second skein left. this particular color is hard to capture--sometimes it looks more blue, sometimes it looks more gray. the yarn has a gorgeous drape. Four Play is definitely one of the nicest yarns i've ever worked with.
Hey Teach
i had to sew the buttonholes a bit smaller after blocking. otherwise i knit as written. i really like the round neckline. i see this one getting a lot of use in the spring and summer.

  1. Very pretty. I think I like yours more than the one in the pattern. When I first saw it I didn't have much of a desire to knit it, but now that I see yours I want one!
