just the facts, ma'am

Indigo Ripples skirt
Indigo Ripples skirt from Interweave Knits Spring 2007
#6 denise circs
8 skeins of Rowan Denim in Nashville
smallest size
Started March 5, Completed March 11.
Mods: instead of icord, i made a long crochet chain and slip stitched in each chain across. it looks very similar to icord but is much less annoying to work.

i ended up with maybe 3 yards left. the yarn nearly killed my hands at this gauge, but i like the finished project enough that i wouldn't rule out using it again--i'd just go up a couple of needle sizes next time. i really like the way the yarn faded in the wash. the skirt is swingy and comfy to wear. i'm sure it'll be a new wardrobe staple.

  3. Fab! And dayum woman, you finished that fast! (Says the one who finished it back in August and keeps forgetting to take pictures. :P)

Glad you were able to do it with 8 balls! Okay, that didn't come out right...
