i'm braindead

my post will be in and out today as i don't know where my head is.

Here's my progress on the Surplice Bodice Camisole. I'm actually a little over halfway done with the right front. I'm happy to report that my seaming skills are getting slightly better. I plan to knit and seam the bodice, finish the edges, then pick up and knit the lace skirt in the round. so far it is going quite well.

And a special thank-you to Amanda of Fancie Pants Knits, for sending me this skein of Elann Sonata. It will go to good use in the Mitered Square Blanket. As soon as I feel like picking it back up again.

  1. It's OK. Everybody gets braindead every once in a while.

  2. Your Surplice Bodice Camisole (I hate the name--it's so long and technical!) is looking great! The tricky part of picking up the stitches is right where the curve is on the front, so it's probably best if you don't attempt that part while braindead!
