The long awaited evidence

Goldie!

Goldie!
And Goldie's buttons!
Goldie mother-of-pearl buttons
Sweater based on "Cherie" from Vintage Knits. knit on #5 and #6 denise circs following the 30" raglan from the handy book of sweater patterns. used app. 6 hanks of rowan summer tweed in gold. mother-of-pearl buttons are from hong kong. sweater blocked to app. 32" bust.

Yellow is not my color. i bought the yarn b/c it was the only bag left on sale, and i thought i'd try branching out from my normal color palette. despite that fact, i'm very happy with how this sweater turned out, and i plan to wear it often. in fact, i already wore it once, and it did not stretch out like i feared that it would. it fits in the feminine but comfy way that i was going for. Yay!

Your sweater is very flattering! And you've inspired me to organize my sh*t so I can whip up a snazzy leftovers shawl.

Au contraire, I think that shade of yellow looks beautiful on you! (Lemon is hard for anybody to wear tho, I think.) You did a great job and your SP7 is right - it looks very professional too!
