Spiderweb Capelet HELL

ughhhhhh...so frustrating! so last night, i harvested the yarn from a gap sweater i got from goodwill, 50/50 wool/acrylic, and so soft. i would have had a lot less pain and agony if only i had wound the yarn into balls *as i unraveled it*. what a novel idea! oh well, rookie mistake.

i couldn't wait to use it after all that work, so i decided to make a spiderweb capelet from SNBN. i've never worn a capelet, but ya never know. instyle says they're still cool. only i didn't realize there was an error in the pattern. i was *almost* done and my capelet just kept growing exponentially. so i looked it up and naturally, there was an error in the pattern. dammit! so i frogged the whole thing and started over. my hands are very very stiff. the #17 needles are so awkward. anyway, here is a progress photo of my capelet, take #147.
